Natasha Mae Fester Obituary, also known as “Tasha,” 33, of Grove City, formerly of Willmar, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her home. Her Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 18, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Visitation was held Sunday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
Early Life and Education
Natasha Mae Fester was born on September 13, 1990, in Willmar, MN, the cherished daughter of Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins. Tasha was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed her faith at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School with the Class of 2009. During high school, Tasha actively participated in the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track, and F.F.A., making many friends.
Career and Achievements
Following high school, Tasha pursued her passion for nursing, attending Ridgewater College for her L.P.N. degree, Rasmussen College in St. Cloud for her R.N., and Mankato State for her B.S.N. Degree. Her dedication and hard work led her to a position as the administrator of C.A.R.E. In August 2023, Tasha achieved a significant milestone by earning her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of North Dakota. She began working at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital as a P.M.H.N.P. in November 2023. Tasha’s compassionate nature and dedication to her work were evident in her daily interactions with her patients. She poured her heart and soul into caring for others and looked forward to working each day.
Family and Personal Life
On July 7, 2012, Tasha married Matthew Fester at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. After marriage, they lived in Atwater for nine years before moving to Grove City in 2019. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children: Mason (12), Marshel (8), Maxton (5), and McKinley (3). Tasha cherished spending time with her family, supporting her boys in all their sporting activities and go-kart racing. She was their loudest cheerleader and gave the best hugs. Tasha had a kind heart and was always there for anyone in need. She loved demo derbies, stock car racing, and DIY projects, always having a Pinterest project in progress. She shared a special bond with her dad, who affectionately nicknamed her “Harold,” She held a unique place in his heart.
Survivors and Preceded in Death
Tasha is survived by her loving husband, Matthew; their four children: Mason, Marshel, Maxton, and MaKinlee, all of Grove City; her parents, Jeff and Lisa Adkins of Atwater; her brother, Trenton (Jen) Adkins, and their children Quinn and Leighton; her father-in-law, Marion Fester of Belgrade; mother-in-law, Jori Berzins of Spring Park; sisters-in-law: Stacy (Nick) Danielson, and their children Gavin, Loretta, and Bode; Abby (Andrew) Christensen, and their children Aiden, Ashton, and Ayla. Her grandparents also survive her: Rosey Ehrp, James (Kathy) Adkins, and her special friend, Ali Hood.
Tasha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Lorraine Chase and Norm Hamner, and stepmother-in-law, Cindy Fester.
A Lasting Legacy
Natasha Mae Fester will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and profession will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
